Welcome to the start of the 2008 season!

And so another year begins – more chukkas, tournaments and general foolery to be enjoyed at the club.  With its ever increasing facilities, the Cambridge & Newmarket Polo Club can now boast in excess of 6 playing surfaces on offer to our members.  The Dullingham grounds are the primary surfaces for tournaments this season however some chukkas may be played at the Lode grounds. 

The new grounds at Lode are now mature enough to hold some brilliant chukkas and with the new developments going on there, we should see an increase of new members and spectators to the game.

With the exciting new software developed by Simon Edwards, the club now has a “Chukka Line” which enables people to book themselves in for chukkas days in advance.  It’s advantages mean members can turn up to chukkas at any time, knowing when they are playing and not having to arrive in time to ‘check in’ onto the old chukka board.  Members will, in time, be given a membership card with a number on which refers only to that specific member.

Simon Edwards is also the club's qualified HPA instructor and is available to give polo lessons throughout the season. For all polo lesson please call him on 07711 079 089.
